Anabolic Designs Pre Work Out Supplement – Stampede Review.
When I was asked to trial Anabolic Designs Stampede I was just thinking, yes just another one of the hundreds of pre workout products that have been brought out recently, what is different about this one.
Upon the first serving I realised that I seemed to get a lot more out of Stampede than most of the other products I have tried recently. It mixed well although had to give it a little more of a shake as I pre mixed and then left it a few minutes but it soon mixed again and the fruit punch taste was nice too which is a rarity in my experience of pre workout drinks that are out there on the market.
I noticed I was nicely focused, so what, I get focused for most sessions any way and adding most other pre workout drinks I get focused too, but this time it was different, I tried it out on legs day first, usually the start of the leg training is slow whilst the blood gets flowing around the body and everything starts to ‘click’ so to speak but I was focused from the minute I done my warm up, infact I had to make sure I was correctly warmed up due to wanting to jump into heavy work straight away! and the pump I experienced along with endurance was pretty intense also, very good work.
Looking at the ingredient profile it is easy to see why I was getting good pumps and results from the very first serving of Stampede. Just like Anabolic Designs Shredabull, Stampede includes various different matrixes aimed to produce different effects for a great workout.
Pumpmaxx muscle volumiser – includes ingredients such as citrulline malate, two types of arginine and dextrose to name just some allows the body to really get a full contraction with each rep pushing blood into the muscles and those vital nutrients to promote growth and progression.
Amino Prime – You have loads of different amino acids included in this matrix just to make sure that the muscle is not being used for the energy and making your body go into a catabolic state which no one really wants, included here also is geranium extract which has been popping up in many different pre workouts and getting great reviews just for the way it adds to intensity and focus throughout.
Neuro Zone – this will allow you to mentally stay focussed throughout a workout, you have a good amount of caffeine to compliment the other ingredients included in here so as not to give an over the top buzz with a massive come down and drop afterwards that some pre workout products tend to promote.
Endurorep endurance enhancement matrix – exactly what the title says, allows for more endurance throughout the workout, more volume, more reps, more contractions and more progression as a result, doing this we have beta alanine which does tend to give a little tingle to some people at the start of a session before the blood really gets flowing, just one way I know its kicking in. And included also is creatine and unless you are a total beginner you should already know the benefits of supplementing with this during your weights routines.
Finally we have a big blend called Electro-Vit which is a selection of vital vitamins and electrolytes to allow your body to function fully and correctly throughout the workout getting good workouts each time without cramping and feeling generally rubbish.
I am still loving using Stampede even after 4weeks of constant sessions I haven’t had to up the dose or have a break due to the fact I train no more than 3-4 times a week it has allowed ample time for my body to make sure it isn’t getting used to the product and is primed ready for the next kick up the butt that stampede gives me The pumps were great throughout and I have noticed strength gains in my compound lifts, I was using this item alongside Shredabull so the strength gains weren’t really expected considering I was dropping fat at the same time also.
Overall I would recommend this product alongside other Anabolic Design items the ingredients included are really good quality and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into producing this item. I would give it a 9/10 as far as improvement personally I am not a lover of having dextrose pre workout but it is at such a low level I haven’t noticed it impairing my workouts in fact it may actually be one of the things helping them out and I’m just being picky as normal!
